Find peace in the midst of year-end chaos at this urban retreat hosted by yoga practitioner and mindset coach Maud Eeckman and mindfulness meditation teacher Ciara McGinley. You’ll leave feeling relaxed and refreshed with the knowledge of how to care for yourself, so you can give the gift of your presence to all those around you this festive season.

About the event

After the success of their first retreat, join Ciara and Maud for another dreamy morning at luxury members’ club Mortimer House, this time focused on helping you rest and re-set as the busy, festive season approaches. 

For many of us, Christmas is a time of joy. But, it can also come with added stress as we try to do it all - from enjoying the festivities with friends and family, to wrapping up at work for the Christmas break and ticking off the Christmas shopping list. It can be overwhelming and easy to forget how crucial our self-care and well-being practices are in times of stress. 

At this morning retreat, you’ll discover how to prioritise your well-being when life gets hectic and learn realistic tools that you can implement into your everyday life to help you relax and stay present in December and beyond. 

The session will begin with a grounding practice, led by Ciara. Inviting you to leave the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street behind as you take this time for yourself to rest and re-set. 

Maud will then guide you through an inspiring yoga flow, helping you to feel stronger and calmer. 

After a short break, the morning will finish with a mindfulness practice to help you disconnect from the world around you and reconnect with yourself.

Not only will you leave feeling relaxed and refreshed, you’ll also get your hands on a luxury goodie bag with gifts from our partners. And, that’s not all. Maud and Ciara also invite you to join them for a chat with light snacks after the retreat finishes and meet with like-minded people if you wish to.

The Schedule

10am – 11am - Welcome & grounding practice 

11am – 12 am - Vinyasa Flow class

12am – Positive Mindset tool

12.30 – Chat, light snacks and farewell

Please note:

  • Maud and Ciara are big believers in the power of community and the positive impact it has on our overall health and wellbeing. However, you will never be asked to share anything about your experience unless you wish to.

  • This is an open-level workshop, no previous experience is required. We welcome you as you are - with your bodies and minds in whatever way they may be on the day.

  • Please feel free to bring a curious mind, a notebook and any questions you may have for your practitioners.

Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can start the session on time.
